Collage Obsession Challenge ANGELS

This is the famous painting, William-Adolphe_Bouguereau_(1825-1905)The _Birth_of_Venus_(1879), which we were supplied for this challenge by Collage Obsession.  Below is what I came up with. 
I incorporated some of the blending modes and brush techniques from the Digital Montage Workshop.  I welcome comments or suggestions even if they say "try again, Carolyn, this isn't your style."
