Homework: Experiment with blending modes on text layer. I started with a bright yellow to match the stamens in the flower and by changing the blending mode, the text appears much differently and very soft. I used luminosity and decreased the opacity.
Sounds complicated to me ... but what a great result. Look at the depth in that photograph and the 'soft petals' looks like it's sitting right on the surface. One of my favorite flowers. hugs, Donna
