Digital Whisper "Sharing Challenge"

Kimmie provided several photos of her beautiful iris in bloom to use for this challenge.  I am sharing a tutorial that I found to weave the piece; however, mine turned out more like a checkerboard effect.  I will definitely try the tutorial again to see what steps I missed.

    It's very interesting though with the checkerboard effect. The colors in the iris really stand out that way. Beautiful work.
